Spruce, White

$45.00

Picea glauca

White Spruce is a very hardy and versatile tree. It tolerates a range of moisture, soil, and light conditions. On good sites it is moderately fast growing and can grow up to 90 feet tall.

White spruce is planted for timber, landscaping, Christmas trees, and wildlife habitat. It provides an effective windbreak and visual screen, and important winter shelter for wildlife. White spruce is popular because it is one of the few trees that deer won’t eat, and doesn’t need much protection.
