Native Plant Kit – Shoreland/Raingarden

Species that do well in wet soil conditions. Planting native vegetation along your shoreline can help stabilize the soil, provide habitat for wildlife, and increase the beauty of your shoreline.

This selection of native plants comes as one flat, containing 36 plugs of 6 different species, all ready to plant. Each plant is grown in a 2″ x 2.25″ x 3.25″ cell. Each kit will include 5 flowers and 1 grass species from the list below (species mix will depend on availability).

Plants will include species such as:

  • Marsh Milkweed
  • New England Aster
  • Blue Vervain
  • Joe-pye Weed
  • Stiff Goldenrod
  • Porcupine Sedge

*Plant kit species included will depend on availability. Selected species will be suitable and representative of the native species in our area.
