Restoration work on a land occupier’s property on the Whiteface Reservoir is shown below. This cost-share project focused on an active erosion area of an approximately 10 foot high, nearly vertical bank, as well as a built-out dock area in disrepair. The built-out dock structure was removed. Natural rock rip rap and native shoreline plants were installed on the property for erosion control. Limited cost-share funding is available for erosion control. State funding may pay for up to 75% of the project costs. Contact Phil for more information 218-288-6145.
